Why Does Everyone Hate The Fluval Edge?

I know this is probably going to start an argument of some sort, but I really don't like how everyone moans about the Fluval Edge tank.
I have a Fluval Edge, and after a few teething problems getting the tank's levels correct (through my own fault) I have had no problems what so ever with the tank and think it looks amazing.
I understand that yes you can't keep very many fish in there, but I have a decent amount of assorted fish and they get along wonderfully and are doing really well. I even had some of my fish breed (not sure which ones as I couldn't make it out)!
I was just wondering what it is that people don't like about it?

I've never seen anyone complain as such.

Unfortunately what normally happens is that the LFS has given them a load of random fish that won't go together especially not in such a little tank.

Hmm, I must admit I have been told by numerous LFS's that I can keep upto 20 small fish in a Fluval Edge which is obviously not the case. However I do think the inch of fish per gallon of water is not a set in stone rule as I have more fish than I probably should do according to these forums, and yet as previously said my fish are doing great and my water levels are fine.

Personally I think it's ugly and too small (how much does it hold?) but I think that's just down to personal taste. I'm sure some would think the silver edging of tank is ugly

Me too. I always figured it would be impossible to clean.

When I first saw it I thought it was quirky and really good.......

that's the trouble with first impressions, reality kicks in and then.....well it isn't all that and £100 would far better spent elsewhere me thinks

Hell, and if you can't keep Tangs in it I would never have it (lol)
