Whos Eggs?

life in the tank:

14ish malasion trumpet snails
6 dwarf neon rainbows not realy that old but males were harassing females a day or two ago
1 bn plec 2-3 will it eat the eggs if i dont save them

the eggs or ontop of the filter they are a clear jelly with white dots on it
only had all the above between 4days-3weeks

im guessing snails tbh but they were tiny when i got them have grown a fair bit but the egg bundle is bigger than my biggest snail

those would be from the snails. snails tend to breed like crazy, but if you dont overfeed, you wont be over run with them.

i also swear that u read the snails giver birth to live young?

there is getting more and more of these bunchs now some stuck to the glass now

MTS do give birth to baby snails. So you must have another snail in their which are the eggs your finding.

Rainbows deposit their eggs on plants.
BN's spawn in caves and tight spaces. Their eggs are very large 2-3mm across and bright orange.

well he hasnt so far and im noticing more and more lol
as for another snail this could be right as i have seen a few out in the day time they look very simular to mts realy not as slim though
i have pants in the tank havent checked them for eggs
tbh i hope its fish eggs but i dont think it will be

"pest" snails. likely came on the plants.

no why ? have though about getting some but surely they would annoy the pleco
