Who Names Their Fish ?

i have a dwarf puffer called hank, a friend named him and we frequently have conversations about how hank is doing as if he is a relative.

i named the betta who lives at the bank. He's now known as Bill.

my bettas are kiet and jewel. my breeding pair of mogurnda mogurnda are smyke and stella. No name for the senegal because i don't know what sex it is yet. Leaning toward salvadore if its a male...

i don't name my fish, it's bad luck! every time i name one, it dies. so i just call them all fishies lol. so far it's working!

all my fish get named after they are 3 months old, as i have so many i'm not gonna write all their names on here, my favourites are George, Nemo (original huh), twinkle, long tale, dory, koffee

i name my fish, but the names are so unoriginal i don't know why i bother..... Goldy and blacky are the goldfish, eely is the eeltailed catfish.....you get the picture ( i could go on, but what's the point?) .
just to show how bad i really am, the cats in my siggy are named pinky, whitey, ginger and mama, and my first horse's name was boy.

I'm sure this was done on here before, but here goes with mine....

Platys - Mr Orange, Mr Black, Mr Blue etc etc (from Reservoir Dogs)

4 (original) Tiger Barbs - Take That (NB Gary Barlow has since died)

Alpha male tiger barb - Five Bellies (due to sheer size of his stomach)

Can't think of any others in my main tank (although I'm sure they were given names when they were introduced) but my wife has the following in her coldwater tank -

Sid, Betty, George, Mildred & Freaky Frank

Slightly off topic, a mate once had a girlfriend who couldn't think of a name for it. It started off being called Little White Fluffy Cat.... it then grew up and became known as Big White Fluffy Cat... one day the cat went missing and much fun was had by the neighbours at the site of this grown man walking the streets, calling out "Big Fluffy White Cat.... Come here, Big Fluffy White Cat... come to Daddy"...
