White Fluff On Plant

Upon my return from a week away (and not stressing over the tank in the slightest), I found this weird white fluff on the leaf of one of my plants. Is it a type of algae, some sort of fungus, or something else?

I cannot make out any details to even hazard a guess. Can you get some good stills of it?

No chance of any decent stills, my video camera is no good at those (hence why I resort to filming so often), and I doubt any of the other cameras in the house are any better. It was very tiny and fluffy/cottony in appearance, and it also looked like there were some whitish streaks along the leaf of the plant. I have since removed the leaf to be completely safe (or as much as is possible to prevent it from spreading).

Actually, just about any camera would probably get more detail. From the info available, my best guess is an errant piece of filter floss.

Is it where some food has become trapped perhaps?
