Which Shrimp

Hi i have a tropical community tank and would like to add some shrimp. Which shrimp can i get? All my fishes are small like tetras, guppies.

I would get Ammano Shrimp TBH. They grow quite bigger than Red Cherry Shrimp and aren't as shy

Hi ,amano and ghost are both fascinating and can be kept with each other and your fish,they can be quite large and they really help clean all old food from the tank ,you can`t successfully breed them though ,you can breed red cherry shrimp ,but in my opinion they`re too small.

If you can find them, get some red nose shrimp - fun to watch, they swim through the water backwards, nose down, tail up.

Amano and cherry are always safe bets, amanos get quite large and cheeky, cherries breed easily and look good against plants.

I had a few tiger shrimp once but they disappeared, presumed eaten. Tbh I preferred my amanos, didn't look that different.

If your tank has been established long enough, i would go for couple of bamboo shrimp, as there large peaceful & can be very attractive, especially after shed
