Put a n add up looking to see if anyone wanted to do a swap on tanks i've had 2 really good offers so far 1 for a vision 260 and the other for a large rectangular tank with the slanted edges ...So kinda like a hexagon but much larger ! lol

I Really like both of them but just wanna see what one you's like too ! lol

Vision 260 not got actual picture meant to be going to view tank on wednesday night and yes its in black and all my other furnitures beech !

Really like the shape of that just waiting on the dimensions length gals etc

Wow!! the top one with the Discus is really nicely decorated..... But the other 2, I think I'll go for the rectangular.... (old habits die hard)

right the woman with the 2nd tank has just sent me measurements she says it's 3 1/2 foot long but the pentagon sides are 19cm so do i add 19cm +19cm+107 cm (3 1/2) ft which means its 145 cm long ? i've asked her to measure the widest point on the lid of the tank will this give me the correct measurement ?

scrap the above lol it's 102cm x 42 cm wide x 52cm high which is 227 litres ? Do you's think it's worth the swap f06 a trigon 190 ? Really want rid of the tank can't bloody see the thing

ugh it's even 2 people like 1st and 2 people like the 2nd ! Going to see 2nd tank on tuesday night it's only 40L of a diffrence

Just a quick question about when i do actually swap I have a very large storage box thing that i can fit aorund 1/3 or my tank in if i put water and all the fish in it where do i stick the heater too ?

Don't really wanna stick it to the side due to it being plastic and also should i leave the filter running in the tub while i go collect new tank or will the fish be ok for 1hour without it going ?

Do i just refill tank with decholred tap water then add in old tank water and acclimatize fish

Hmm, you may want to try to keep the heater separate from the sides of the box But the filter doesn't need to be left running, it should be fine.

I would go with the vision 260, not just more litres, but longer too, 120cm compared to the 101cm. Bigger is always better

Well i think it will be the vision i get ! Just been to see the other tank and the tank itself is pretty nice no scratches on glass or anything still filled with water even tho she's had no fish in it for 2 weeks ? also she used bird seed as gravel sort of like a blue oil kinda thing on the surface of water

And the stand looked very nice a few stains like something had been spilt down the doors and the beech covering is starting to come away at the bottom

To be frank it defo isn't a fair swap for my beaut just need to phone other guy now ! lol
