I believe the Otos would work under the you fish category.
Ff2 I dont understand what that sentence means sorry.

Oh I would take away the 6 harlequin etc. that I listed and just have, since you wanted the kuhlis to be the centerpiece
10 kuhlis
2 bolivions
6 otos
4 mollies
2 platies

Oh no I was just saying that as a joke the bolivians will be the center piece but all the fish will be equally great.

I think I'm at
2 Bolivian rams
4 mollies
2 platys
6 otos
6-8 khulis
6 cherry barbs OR 10 harlequins

That looks like a good stocking. I can imagine the way those fish would look in that tank, it would be amazing, and if I were you I would get the 10 harlequins instead of the 6 barbs :good:

If I can find the orange ones I'll definately do that but ice only seen the silver ones and I'm not sure if you can mix the 2.

I'm going to switch to sand in February or march the in march I'm going to get the fishes.

Does anyone know if you can keep the orange harlequins and silver harlequins together?

Are they the same species? If so, they're just different color morphs of the same species, and could definatley thrive together

They're just called harlequin rasbora. They look the same just done are orange and some are silver. They get different shipments all the tine.

With the stocking I suggested, 6 kuhlis would be better as IMO it would be overstocked with 10

^What he said ^

10 Kuhlis running up & down the sides of your tank would stress the living crap out of the other fish in a tank that size. I wouldn't put 10 in my 36 gallon either.

Go for the Cherry Barbs dude! If I had to get rid of my Lemon Tetras, Von Rio Tetras or my Cherry Barbs I'd keep the Barbs now matter what.

The males are an awesome deep, bright red color and the females are beige with brown & orange stripes. They almost look like you have 2 kinds of fish since the coloring is so different. Cherry Barbs are shoaling fish but they are fine kept in pairs. 6 would be great in that stock list you have there.

Ok I'll have a look at them next time I'm in my LFS. Now I'm glad I'm waiting to restock because one of my sisters friends is going to give me his old ten gallon saltwater that he doesn't want anymore because it's too much work amongst his other 4 larger salt and 1 larger fresh. My sister is going tomake sure he said give though not sell.
