Which Color?

hi! i'm planning buy a betta. what color do you think i should pick? red or blue? which is more rare?

Blue and Red are your pretty bog-standard betta colours. Look on the internet (Aquabid, Betta-Paradise, Betta Lady, Aqua Range 4 u (on ebay))

I'm a sucker for the traditional colours, I have a red (with blue and purple flecks throughout) and a beautiful Blue.

Yes neither red or blue are rare colours. But you should go for a Betta that really catches your eye, one that you think is beautiful or has a nicer personality not necessarily "the rarest" I had a lovely pink super delta from pets at home originally and although my now bettas are rare or unusual my pink boy meant so much there is no comparison

i have a blue and white boy, and a red boy coming friday, then i have a purple red and blue boy

although i am a sucker for reds

Yeah, go for the betta that looks healthy and happy and catches your eye.
