I just got a new light with a timer and it can change colors but only one at a time so my question is should I do red one day blue the next and green after or is it best for just one color a day ? If only one which y'all think is the best because I have anubius and red tiger lotus.

No white/natural light? If it is RGB only, I would go for red or green if you do use it. Blue would mimic nighttime more than the others IMO.
As for the plants, anubias don't need a lot of light, but red light would show the tiger lotus' red features more.

Is it dimmable btw?

Natural sunlight has red, blue, green, yellow and UV light. It has a colour temperature of around 5500-6500K (K is for Kelvin).

Plants need blue and red light in equal amounts and small amounts of green and yellow light. When the different colours of light are balanced you get a light that looks white.

In the morning and evening we get mostly yellow light, which gives us the orange yellow colour at sunrise and sunset.

During the middle of the day we have more blue light and the light appears white and colours show up well (especially blues and reds).

At night when the sun has gone we get sunlight reflecting off the moon and that tends to be white or yellow depending on where the sun is in relation to the Earth.

If you only have a choice of red or blue or white, go with white.
