I personally like crowntails. Don't know why, but i just love them

If I absolutely had to choose, I'd go with Halfmoons, Superdeltas and short tails... in butterfly/patriot colorations

i like shorts for the exact opposite reason. All depends on tastes.

i like them all. I do prefer the shorter ones as of now, but not just plakat ones, like the female tails.
they have they type, like HM or CT, but short. Its perfect.

i guess im a wierdo-i really do like the veils.
i couldnt decide between veils and plakats so i voted for veils since i didnt htink theyd have any other votes.
i dont like halfmoons because when their fins are realxed they look so droopy. anyways when they get older, they just drag their tails around. it doesnt look like fun for the poor fish.
i dont see the big deal about cts. there are too many different types to put the all in one category. some are really ugly and some are very nice imo. i do like them though. i have 5 of them
i havent ever really liked dts either most of them have really short bodies and they just look kind of constipated to me...
yes of course some are nice but most arent imo

Short tails are my favorite. And I have to disagree with you, becca - If plakats were so overrated, I would expect to see them in many more lfs-es ( Now I'm just making up words... ) than I currently do. I would also expect more of them to have won BOTM.

I believe they are drastically underrated. They are hardier, full of personality, and (in my case at least) do much better in a carefully chosen community tank.
