Which tail do you like best?

The males all had a spade tail as shown in this picture below.

I know that more recent internet sources use the terms spadetail and speartail interchangeably but in official circles it is a speartail. One of my favorites. See the chart of silhouettes I posted above for the difference between the two.

I was going to do sib matings.
Well that will give you the greatest variety of everything--color, pattern, tail shape etc. Really eager to see what you get.

Thanks for the correction. Nomenclature is important.

I have no opinion about the tail types except they are all beautiful. I’m just here to say that I really like the word “peduncle,” and it makes me sad that opportunities to use it in normal life are so rare.

I paired a male yellow tiger endler with a green cobra female guppy. I couldn’t locate female yellow tiger endlers. The progeny have various shape and colored tails. I am going to selectively breed based on fish with a bell or spade shaped tail. Which tail do you prefer?
Well, we could tell which ones we'd like but the most important things is that you choose the one that appeals you most. From these pics, I would choose the top sword. Why? Because that would be different from other tiger hybrids.
Crossing a male tiger hybrid endler (they come in various tail shapes already by themselves) crossing to a delta female, will never give a steady result in the F1. Variety all over...
It comes down to selecting the ones that comes most close to your ideal tail shape.
