I'm planning to do two fish's tanks stacked ontop of eachother on a shelf/workbench thing, but im not sure where to buy just the glass without a stand???

It's good to say where you are for a question like that.

I think they are in Shepperton which i fear might be in the uk.

I would try your local glazier. Back when I kept a lot of dart frogs I developed a good business relationship with the local glass store. I would have them cut all kinds of glass lids and what not. It's actually pretty inexpensive, and they would always sand the edges so nothing to cut yourself on and I felt the quality of what I was getting was superior to any big box store.

My assumption as there is a Shepperton quite close to me :) That's why I recommended a UK retailer I have used in the past. I found them when I was looking for a non-standard size and just wanted a glass box, but didn't want to make it myself. That's surprisingly difficult to find here without paying megabucks for the big brands.

I was in the uk once. I got wet but thankfully no fishes fell from the sky.

An shop that sells aquariums should have tanks for sale. Buying a stand with it is optional not required.

I was considering using them when I was looking for a second tank. I contacted them asking about glass thickness, but never received a reply  . Most tanks in my budget were 3-4mm thick at 80L+! I managed to get a 90L with 8mm thick in the end from APS. I have heard Shirley is a very good retailer to use, though.
