Can we find daphnia or moina in river or canals?
Can we recognize place of daphnia or moina?

Daphnia are generally found in cooler climates whereas moina are found in warmer climates.

They are found in freshwater ponds and lakes. They are not found in flowing water like rivers.

Quite often there are water birds around the lakes and daphnia collected from areas with water birds can carry parasitic worms that infect fish. If you get them from a lake with water birds, culture the daphnia in tubs of green water for a few weeks and transfer the young (no adults only the young) into clean tubs of green water. Let them grow and produce young and transfer those young into tubs of green water. Allow them to grow in this tub and use these for fish food.

You can catch them in ponds with a 10-12 inch aquarium fish net that has course netting, or make a net using mosquito netting. Then move the net through the water. You will see clouds of daphnia flicking about and you simply scoop them out and put them in a bucket of water to transfer them home.

Do not have too many in a net when you lift them out of the water or they get crushed and die.

Keep their bucket of water in the shade so it doesn't get too hot.

Aerate the bucket of water gently to maximise the oxygen levels but don't make it bubble too much or they get damaged bouncing off the sides of the bucket.

Can we find daphnia in well?
Here is lake which has strong small tides due to its larger surface area. I went there but i dont find daphnia in that lake.

You don't normally find daphnia in wells because the water is too clean to provide food for them. The daphnia feed off bacteria, small single celled organisms like paramecium, and algae. If the well water is clean and used for drinking, it won't have daphnia in it.

If the lake is fresh water then it might have daphnia in it. They are usually found in calm shallow water (less than 3 feet) and you might find them near reeds or other plants along the edge of the lake or in the water. However, if there are fish in the lake, they will eat most of the daphnia so you might not find many.
