Where Has My Betta Gone?

went on holls last monday so having no one to look after my betta rhyu. i baught him one of those holliday feeding pyramids that you leave in the tank. however i returned home to an empty tank well just my ramshorn snail and no rhyu!!! i can only assume he sadly passed away and the snail ate his corpse while i was away for the week. its just sad and weard that there is no evidence of my ryhu ever being there. the other thing could be that my snail is a secret murderrer lol realy miss my betta i realy feel im to blame for going on holliday

Root throught the gravel and decs, check not caught or buried, also in the filter and tight spots..it is a possibility the snail had at him..sorry to hear this honxxxx

i've checked every where he deffo gone and he had no way of jumping out i just wonder what the cause of deff could of been do you recon he would have starved with me just leaving him one of those bloody crap holliday meal things?

Fish can easily go a week without food.

I bet any money it was the block that killed him, they foul the water quality and the food in them is baisicly ash, never use them myself.

same thing happened to mine.... completely vanished... although i wasnt on holiday.... i suspect he either jumped and the cat ate him or he died and the pandas and yoyo's ate him...

i wish i had a little cam corder in the tank at night time

he proberly jumpes out because corys and yoyos wouldnt be able to eat him in one night.
