Where Do You Keep Your Bettas ?

i put my noise over the bowls and smelled the water, there is actually only two of them that stinks... the one with the plants stink and the bowl with my oldest fish stinks, ionno i change the water like every 1 and a half weeks... for some reason the water with my old fish turns yellow ?

Have you got wood in that tank? If you do, it'd be the tannins making the water yellow.

The individual tanks are on our entertainment center in the Living Room. The community tank, including 3 females, is in the Living Room on a buffet.

i have a bedroom, a kitchen, and a bathroom, and very few working electrical outlets so my tank spaces are limited. i have a 2.5 tank and two bowls on my computer desk, a 2.5 and a bowl on a random table, a 2.5 on my bed table, and a tank stand with a 20 and a 29 (but those aren't bettas)

oh, and did i mention plans for a shellie tank and a killifish tank? all in my bedroom/livingroom?

no smell in my room/apartment... well, anyway, not from the fish. the garbage i haven't taken out is a different story

I live in a tiny, tiny.... room I guess. No it's not a dorm room. It's worse than that.

Anyway, my fish space is extremely limited. My fish are on a small table that's meant to be an endtable, which is where my TV used to be until my brother took it. Before that, I only had 1 fish and I put him on my table, on the side so he wouldn't block the TV from my bed.
