Are you willing to travel up here ;) my local pets at home have just started stocking female endlers I saw them last week. I had never seen them before I thought endlers were just bred with female guppies until I saw them-just plain brown and quite small.

Well maidenhead aquatics crowland usually have males and females ( there listed as endler but they could be crosses I really havnt looked that well )

just rang them hes got plenty of pairs in :)

also told me about some blackchins apparently livebearers this is the first iv heared of these lol they easy to keep?

Here is video of my old black chins mate, they are awesome fish, the male is the horniest thing you have ever seen lol, they dont eat their young either, and have a really good temprement.
Really ratio these out though at 3-4 females for every 1 male.

Neil at frisbys own the shop, hes a nice guy, he will sort you out :)

One of my favs are black chin livebearers :)

Black chins are seldom seen in fish shops. This is some of mine trying out a BBS hatchery for me. I think they approved.

We are pretty lucky to be able to get hold of blackchins where we live, they are well worth the money at £4 a pair.

Oldman47 your black chins look very healthy and stunning, i really love this livebearer and really thinking about breeding them again.

I got a pair at a local fish auction and found them to be easy care fish 5teady. It seems to be the real answer to many of my livebearers. I buy a pair or maybe a trio at a local club auction and the next thing you know I have a thriving colony. I do not have any particularly hard to obtain knowledge. Instead I keep my fish in as pristine water as I am willing to give them using water changes. In return they breed well and give me plenty of fry. This is the real world of livebearer breeders, at least in my experience.

Maidenhead Peterborough ( and i think crowland too) has a tank full of black chins I was looking at them the other week wierd fish but pretty cool too

What size tank do they need for a few males ?
