hello everyone

Couple weeks ago i got a new hornwort , i do noticed hornwort got longer and produce more stems but i did noticed hornwort is getting dark red, yellow/amber on the top of his/her tips.

I do dose weekly plant food fertilizations, my tank is 26 gallon tank well establish one year old it has other two plants which is java moss and moss balls, the lighting is 2x 24 watt t5 bulbs 10 hours a day, temperature is 25 celsius .

I do add PRO GRO liquid fertilizations , No C02 .

It's enjoying being near the surface and is reddening up. I've heard a fair amount of discussion, and there is a fair amount of scientific research being done, as to why plants do this and how to get them to do it more.

Sit back and enjoy the colour variations.

I just had cut off red coloration by mistake as i though is dying :D . one person told me who had experience with hornwort today is that yellowish and amber color means that hornwort is growing fast, dark red / brown tips means loves plenty of light. i got to say it grows very fast , almost all my tank is covered with in few weeks. here is  a picture of this hornwort in one of my tanks:

also any tips of getting rid off the diatoms and green slime algae ( its old problem ) , its easier to clean off the diatoms but hard to clean off green slime algae even with glass magnet cleaner
