i found a band of, i think, eggs attached to the inlet pipe of my filter. they were in a band, say about 2 inchess deep, going half way around the pipe. all the eggs were evenly placed, each egg was about 2mm in diamiter. and there were between 50 and 100 of them.

anyone got any ideas? the tank stock is

angels 2
corys 2
plecs 3
glasscatfish 3
SAE 1
gurami, 2
pygmy gurami 1
bolivian ram 1
RTS 1
rainbow shark 1
tigerbarbs 2
silver dollars 2
silvershark 1
upsidedown catfish 1
rummy nose tetras 2

What you have is consistant with the way corys spawn, but I think I just told you that your two are females. Of course, the eggs could be infertile, but perhaps the albino is actually a male.

Could you post a picture of it on your other thread, from the top looking down? :unsure:

oops no sorry. i was told they were some form if insect eggs and cleaned them off before i thought. :/ :crazy: :-( :no:
 
off the subject a bit but how big is the tank?silver sharks and silver dollars should be kept in groups of at least 4 and upwards

4 feet 50ukg!
lol so i am told :-(!!
the Bala will need a biger tank in a few years.
as for the dollars, well they are active and very healthy, as is the Bala.
given more tank space all things are possible!
