I don't think we have a spell checker on the forum - those members who use computers will have a spell checker in their web browsers (like the one which just highlighted that I had spelled members as memmbers) and phone users have spell checkers on there as well.

Clearly whoever coined "fuplie" doesn't have a top-of-the-line autocorrect/spell check system. ?

I asked my son how that phone came up with fuplie if it didn't recognise guppy. His reply was

g is next to f on a keyboard = f
u it accepted = u
p it accepted = p
p (second p) is next to l on a keyboard = l
y sounds like ie = ie

That's how computers 'think' (even the ones in phones) - it doesn't recognise the word so it assumes you hit/tapped the letter next to one you intended.
