Whats The Most Intelligent Fish You Own?

i think my dwarf puffers and my 3 african cichlids are my smartest fish.

My cichlids are dumb.. anytime anyone even stands up from the couch they think they're being fed and all rocket to the top of the tank and swim back and forth... I said my keyholes because I had dropped a bottomfeeder wafer into the tank it sank and landed on an ornament... none of the fish knew... I put my finger against the tank pointing to where it was.. most of the other fish had no clue what I was doing, but one of the keyholes came right over to my finger then went right to the wafer... I thought it was pretty interesting.

I'm surprised that some people say their fish can distinguish people.. maybe my fish are just dumb?

Funnily enough I was thinking of my keyhole when I clicked this link and you said the same. He's always trying to get my attention when i'm in the room and follows my finger around. He's ace!

I would have to say angels, then con's, then my guppies( i used to have some kribs, but no females availble, so i gave up for now). Mine were extrmely smart, they knew who fed them, as the tank was in my parents room, after a few weeks they would only come to me for food!

Angels are close for me but they will come to the top for anyone as I tap on the glass everytime i feed (thanks to tolak).

But it has to be my 7 inch Jack Dempsey. Hand fed but absolutely hates anyone other than me and wont acept food from anyone else. He "Flares" at anyone who puts there face close to the tank, its quite amusing.

Id say my albino rainbow shark and my pair of clownfish. When i got to the tank they both swim to the top and ust stay ther euntil they are bored or i go.

Puffers in general without a shadow of a doubt, they put other fish to shame.
