Hi all,

Buying my next instalment of fish tomorrow.
I know from everyhting I've read that NOT to overstock.
I have a RIO 125L with the current selection at the moment:
5x Black ruby barbs
5x Male guppies
2x Female swordtails
1x Male swordtail

I know I can't have the whole ist below (unless I talk the missus into letting me buy another tank...doubtful)
3x Dalmation Molly
2x Angel fish
3x Balloon Molly
5x Threadfin rainbow fish
6x Zebra Danio
6x Cardianl Tetra
2x Viejita Dwarf Cichlid OR 2x cockatoo Cichlid OR 2x Ram Cichlid

Not sure on bottom feeders (plec/loach) but would like at least 2.

What do you think of my list? Any suggestions, ones to avoid, Best ones I can get and amounts.

I'm running an Internal Bioflow 3.0 which cam e with the tank alongside an Eheim 2213.
Ammonia 0ppm
Nitrite 0ppm
Nitrate 20ppm
PH 8.0
Temp 25 degrees

Plastic (silk) plants only...NO live plants.

Thanks for reading.

Ok her is my amature advice.
To start with your tank is too small for the Angelfish, they look lovely & small in the shop but will get BIG! The Danios are a very active fish so would be happier in a bigger tank.

The apistogrammas (cichlids) are lovely & not too big but can be a bit territorial when protecting a brood.

The livebearers will fit in fine but bear in mind they do breed easily so can increase you tank population significantly (your swordtails are probably breading as I type).

The cardinals are a lovely looking fish & a school of 6 will enhance the tank no end.

The threadfins would also look nice in there but they get to be 5cm(males) so are twice the size of the cardinal tetra.

Your tank is 125 litres or 33 us gallons so you need to find out teh Adult size of all the fish you want & then calculate the overall fish inches per gallon to see how many more you can have.

Cheers

~Tom~
