There are quite a few very small fish that would be ok;

male Endlers
ember tetras
chilli rasboras
dwarf emerald rasboras
celestial pearl danios

Aww! I didn't like shrimps much either, until my son had two amanos and I'm converted now! they're really cute and adorable!

I'm so converted, I've just paid £15 for five rudolph shrimp from Kesgrave  They are gorgeous though!

I do, I have shrimp in most of my tanks.
They're quite entertaining & interesting to watch

I've been looking at the blue ones from there, very tempted.
How did you find them to deal with, any problems?

Gotta say I'm a shrimp fan too. And currently have a colony in an Aqua40 (same size as the tank you mentioned) :/ not helpful I know.

Do you know what types of fish you like/the types of tanks you like.
Colour...activity... central fish with personality etc?
Also where abouts are you? Useful to see if you have any good stockists around you for any of the rarer suggestions.

How interested are you in the decor n such? Small tanks can be fun to design cause they're so easily accessible and don't require too much money to set up some cool aquascapes.

Also, what is your current water pH... shouldn't make too much of a difference but if you end up with wild caught fish that like a different pH that could cause issues.

I had no problems dealing with them, and the shrimps are a nice size and very healthy (I also got some dwarf emerald rasboras that look a little thin, but nothing that a few days of good feeding won't sort out). They came on time, very well packaged.

I know they've had a bit of negative feedback on Ebay, but if you actually go and read it, it's all from a couple of people who bought huge amounts of very incompatible fish. I'd be very happy using them again.

Thanks Fluttermoth, did mail them a couple of weeks back about the scarlet badis & they never replied which made me wary.
Might bite the bullet & order anyway
Sorry to hijack your thread Danele, get shrimp, they're fun :)

I wasnt planning another tank as im currently cycling my new 60l tank. But i couldnt resist a bargain of £15 for the aqua 320 with filter and heater. Im bad i know :look:
