Wow that is a large number!!!
I reported back in January I think, that I had 11 platies. Since then I have added floating water sprite to my tank, it's been in my tank for about 10 weeks or so.
I now have around 16 to 18 platies ranging from adult to juveniles that now swim around with the rest of the fish and counting. As well as many, many platy fry of which a small percentage will undoubtedly survive.

A very nice selection of Livebearers there's a few species I like to get back in my fish room,
did the Girardinus metallicus (plane coloroured) come from the black belly strain ? my favourite out of there Phallichtys is quadripunctatus and probably the most popular back in the 70s Merry Widow Phallichthys amates amates, there rarely seen these days

Note that the Ginga rubra mentioned above is an actual guppy and no endler influence in there. For a lot of people think that they're endlerhybrids. Zero endler influence! A wildguppy has been used which has caused the smaller bodysize.
The same goes for the panda guppy. No endler influence at all. Because of the pink gene that they carry they stay smaller. To the pink gene is a dwarf growth gene connected. That's why they're smaller.

It's the other way around. The black belly and also the yellow belly were derived from the plain version of the G.metallicus.
Yes, it seems also overhere that phallichtys species have become rare. Just like a lot of other aquarium fish from the '70's. To me it seems that at an average lfs less species are offered these days in comparison to back in the days.
Phallichthys pittieri is used as a synonym for Phallichtys amates amates these days. But there's a difference. They look a like but the coloration in the dorsals are different. They almost do get as large as the Phallichtys amates amates. Some also label the Phallichthys pittieri as Phallichthys amates pittieri.

I recently took a trip to our fish center here in the phils we call it cartimar.. can you guess which one i choose? one was 2usd a peice while the other was 10USD per pair

Nice video, the LFS here has two guppy tank, one is mix fancy and the other is feeder guppies. You have a nice selection to choose from.

I wish the quarantone would end soon coz i only have a months worth of food left.. Cartimar is 2 hours away from me.. my fish would end up eating just spirulina tabs if i ran outNice video, the LFS here has two guppy tank, one is mix fancy and the other is feeder guppies. How often do you feed them? If you need to stretch your food supply you could skip a day between feedings and the fish do just fine

before the qyarantine 1x a day.. but during quarantine I dont ahve anything else to do hahaha so 2 or 3x
Like JuiceBox said, reduce the feeding to once every couple of days.
You can look for live foods around the property. In spring you can find aphids on roses and other plants and these can be tapped off the plant and into a plastic bucket. Feed them live or freeze them and use them later on.
Small flies and mozzies can be fed to fish as long as they are free of chemicals like bug spray. Small ants and ant eggs can be used too.
Get yourself some microworms and grindal worms and culture them for fish food.
If you have a freshwater pond nearby, you can look for Daphnia in that. The following link has information about culturing food for baby fish but includes Daphnia and Rotifers.

If you have fish, prawn/ shrimp or other seafood in the freezer (for eating or bait for fishing), you can use that as fish food. Defrost a prawn and remove the head and shell. Throw those bits away. Use a pair of scissors to cut the remaining prawn tail into small bits and offer a few bits at a time to the fish. Do this until the fish are full and then remove any uneaten food. If you have frozen fish or squid, you do the same as for prawn except there is no shell to remove.
