What Type Of Fish Have I Brought (pics Included)

Agree, the top blue&white fish is a siamese fighting fish (betta) (betta splendens) and the lower one is a black lyretail/(perhaps sailfin too?) male molly who will want the water to not be too soft or acid probably.

I agree that you could go a bit longer and keep the discussions up before determining whether to do another tank for the betta, situations vary and depend somewhat on fish personalities in the tank. Close observations and notes in your aquarium notebook can turn out to be very valuable in this regard.

It looks like you've got a couple of plants in there that are terrestrial plants, not underwater ones, and they are beginning to do poorly and will eventually die. Plants that have white are never underwater plants and very stiff plants are suspect.

How long has the 10g been up and running and what method did you use to cycle it?

I brought the tank with cycle and everything set it up and ran it for 2 weeks and took it for test it failed and they told me to put safe water in it for work did this took it back it failed same for another and failed so they said do a 20% water change and add safe quard into new water before tipping new water into to tank and continue to add safe water. I did this and tested it a week later and it past so I brought the darios and they were fine so then i brought Siamese fighter (betta spleneden) and black lyretail/salifin male molly (together) and then Tetras.

You have what looks like a nice veiltail Betta splendens, also called a fighter in the UK. The second picture is a male black sailfin lyretail molly. With all the other fish that you have, how big is your tank? When you combine these with 8 neons and 5 zebras, you have a large enough stock for a 15 to 20 gallon tank, 55 to 75 litres. All of your fish are ones that I have kept in fairly hard water with a pH above 7.5 but the neons would probably like softer water and a pH below 7.0.

You'll have a great opportunity here in the "New to the Hobby" forum to learn a lot more about testing the water yourself, understanding more about what's important and not important in the water and not using extra chemicals, that is if you care to learn these things. The members enjoy the chit-chat of passing along this information!
