What Type Of Fish Food To Get For 'fish'

our class decided to 'adopt a family' this year. We get to buy things for a poor family for Christmas. I chose to buy for the mom because she asked for pet stuff. She wanted 'food for 3 bearded dragon lizards and 2 fish'. I left the bearded dragons to my friend since she had some herself.  But what kind of fish food do I buy for just 'fish'?
