Not all water conditioners are equal. Take stress coat for example: It does exactly what is says but you have to use ALOT of it. Seachem's Prime does the same things as stress coat without the soothing aloe plus it locks up ammonia (important for when there are chloramines present as the dechlor part breaks the bond between the chlorine and ammonia molecules. This leaves ammonia as a byproduct.) Now a 500 ml bottle of Prime is $17 and when compared to a $10 bottle of stress coat you are fooled into thinking that it's cheaper to use stress coat. In actuality you use roughly 5 times as much (iirc) stress coat costing you more in the long run.

The same thing applies to pond conditioner. You use less and you save money in the long run. Clearly, there is only 1 choice :good:
