Hi all,

Well, the upgrade tank (17L to 106 ;p) is finally running - just heating up now as I type this....

Anyway, its externally filtered with Eheim HOBs, with mature media.

The aquarium will be at 18-20'C (well 20 I hope!)

I currently have 4 white clouds, one pitbull and a number of different ramshorn snails (along with plants etc.) to transfer.

I definately want more white clouds, pit bulls and possibly hong kong plecs (though will wait until I've seen them alive and healthy in the shop a while longer).

But I wondered, what else might I add?

I have another nano with 3 neons in it (I could transfer these to the bigger tank too... but dont think it would work out)....

I do have an increasingly sof spot for livebearers (are there any that would like a slightly riverine, cool setup? that would still breed?

Randome questions there I know!

Thanks!

I'd always recomend Rosy Barbs because they are amoung my favourite fish- completly manic and very friendly, if your looking for a center piece fish then paradise fish do well in cooler water but I have heard of them being a bit nasty my guy is great so long as the fish don't have long and colourful fins. Fairly sure Variatus Platies also do well at lower tempertaures but I'd just double check that.

To name but a few...

Danios (Leopard/Zebra)
Peppered Corydoras
Shiners
Odessa Barbs (@20C)
Blind Cave Tetra
Florida Flagfish
Rosy Barb
Chinese Barb
Paradise Fish
Bearded Corydoras
Empire Gudgeon
Ilyodon spp. livebearers (@20C)
Hong Kong Plec (@20C)
