ok so i just restarted my cultures and made 2 new ones. i can see the worms moving in my new ones and i did put a tint bit of yeast in these ones. there are still some areas that i couldnt cover the oatmeal..
anyways i am keeping one of my old cultures for maybe a day or so just in case.

-----> i was wondering if i can put the old one in my compost (consisting of old veggies/ fruits and rabbit poop :p )? i dont want to put them in there and then find out that they are living off the veggies and then they spread and take over the earth  !! i think i read that they are good for plants? i fill the old container with water just incase i do put them in and then they wont multiply b/c the are dead! :hey:

thanks

Hi comocrayfish5 :)

I don't think you have to worry about the way you dispose of microworms. Since your oatmeal or other media is organic, putting it in the compost heap will be fine. I usually just mix water with it and wash them down the drain in my kitchen sink.
