What Tank Size?

Hi guys I was looking to buy some fish and I could do with some help on tank size. What is the minimum tank size (litres or gallons) I would want for 40 neon tetras, 2 catfish, 5 bala shark and 1 fire eel?

200 Gallons or about 900 liters? Probably with all those balas roaming around at a foot long each and guessing its plecs when you say catfish so again 2 more foot long fishes.

I think 200 gallons is a lot. If you can get a 200 gallon by all means do. Don't really think those neons would do very well with that mix, they may get eaten by the eel if they are small enough. I would say 100 gallons would be a minimum tank size.
BTW 900 litres is 240 gallons.
