What Should I Put In My Tank?

apparently cichlids from different parts of the world have different signals for territoriality (different ways of saying 'get out of my cave') and they can't understand each others. Because they can't communicate their territories and they can both be territorial fish there's a good chance of carnage between them.

shouldn't ever mix african and new world cichlids

Hi,

I know this is an old post but the links for Biggest Fish and Species Index are not working, does anyone have those links or something similar please.

Thanks

Duncan

Nice resurrection DinPerth. I haven't seen MissWiggle on here for about 3 or 4 years, although I do miss her. She always had great advice.
Links in posts do age over time. Sometimes the referenced thread has been moved or a section name has changed. That can make a link simply blow up. I don't know if it is the case this time but it happens more than I like to think about.

IdahoAquariumKid, Betta splendens, male or female, are simply not aggressive fish. They are very passive fish that are aggressive in a conspecific way only.
