ok well after our first trip to petsmart we ended up with a bunch of fish that don't go together. I need to take some back and would like to get some others. I would really like another fire eel. and my tank looks so understocked. right now I only have I have like 15 fish in my 75 gallon tank. Angels and guppies are not an option or betta's these are the fish for some reason I cannot keep alive. I would love a discus but they seem so hard. Any suggestions. Would also like to do some live plants but at the beginning I bought one and it took off growing for 3 weeks and then died. Anything pretty but easy. All sugesstions welcome

okay well in your sig (I'm assuming that's the tank your talking about) you say you have "1 catfish" what type of catfish? Also, once your ghost knife gets larger your glass cats and yoyo loach and possibly even your clown loaches and RTS are food... Hard to say exactly what you should get, a Fire eel would get too large for your tank as they grow to about 20-26" or possibly more. I'd recommend getting something nice and peacful like German Blue Rams, but yet again they will eventually become food for the ghost knife, also Balas need more than only 2 in the school, and they grow too large for a 75gallon tank... I'd recommend rehoming the Ghost knife and the balas and (depending on what it is) the catfish...

After that you could begin a new stock because no matter what, unless a larger fish (which'll need a larger tank) will be eaten by the Ghost knife eventually...

I think he's called like a panda catfish.

We also got all of our fish as babies and when they get bigger we plan to get a bigger tank. That was the plan when we got Slithers the fire eel. He was doing great for 8 months then disappeared 2 days ago with my gourami and my frog. It is a mystery but he was my favorite so I would love another one. Same with the bala sharks I have seen how big they get but their only like an inch and a half right now. That gives us time to get a new tank and design the sump like we did with our freshwater. Just looked up the blue rams they are beautiful I have never seen them before and it says they are difficult that is good. If it ever says care is easy I can't keep them alive to save my life. My fish guy thinks it's funny and will only order me oddball fish.

ight so I'd say go with a couple of German Blues, also in regards to the Ghost knife fish, your plans are??? Another thing I thought may be interesting for you are Parrot Fish and Keyhole cichlids...

Well we were going to move him to a bigger tank too but he's not being too nice right now, neither is my shark. I might have to take them back.

you'd be better off bringing them back :good: Best to give them a good home at the LFS then to give them a too small tank at your home...
