What Plec Do You Recomend

im looking for a plec not too expensive (£7) what is not hard to get hold of in lfs's but a stunner.
has anyone any ideas.

bristlenose plecs are cheap and dont grow that large either if you have a smallish tank

Peckoltia species are always a good choise ( but many are expensive....

How update is your stocking (you have stocking in your sig and profile)? Will you be putting the pleco in the 12gal (how long and wide is it too)?

i reccomend a green phantom - there a nice colour and relatively cheap to buy

You could have a chinese algea eater he is good. But yeah in what size of tank u will be adding him. If in the 12 gal then i will not recommend a any plecos. U can have some ottos in group of 6 they will clean all the tank.

Good for eating other fish, yes. But for eating algae he is only good while he is little. After that...no, this is not a community fish.

Agreed, as already mentioned in other threads you should be looking to either upgrade your tank or return some of the fish you already have. Not placing threads about obtaining more.

The BGKF has no business being in a tank that small.
