What Plants Are You Getting?

I got my Burpee Catalog in the mail the other week and this is what im ordering:

So what are you guy's getting as far as plants are considerd? NOTE: I am not done with plant's, it sint time to plant, but im already looking for seed's at our walgreen's, lowe's, and Nina Hardware.

Ahh! Fear not! I just got into gardening a few weeks ago ^^

I'm not exactly buying any plants as such, I bought all the ones I wanted a few weeks back - but this is what I have:

- Several Bonsai trees, can't remember the name of the plant though
- Three rose bushes
- A handful of seeds, I thin I got - Dill, Pepper, Tomatoes, spring onions, sweet pea plants, marigolds, geraniums.

So not much realllyy

argggggg, good luck with the tomatoes adn Peppers, and geraniums. There all pain in the ####'s when it comes to sprouting and the first couple of weeks. Make sure your soil is good quality or you wont get the peppers to sprout. THe tomatoes might ont sprout either. Geraniums dont really care, but they dont really sprout. That's why i always buy 50 cent baby geraniums!

Thanks! I haven't planted the tomatoes yet, I ran out of compost But I'll probably form some sort of system in my spare greenhouse and plant them directly into compost bags...Might make the whole thing easier

As for the peppers and geraniums - they seem to be doing okay! About 4 of the geraniums so far have leaves again which is an acheivement for me

50 cent geraniums?! Wow, they cost about 2 quid a plant over here

WOW! My plant ordering has been cancelled, becasue we have a big family adn the money isnt there. Im glad your plants are doing good! My grandma is takinmg me to a plant place about a hour away in a few weeks and said she get me comething from there instead! Good Luck!

Well i started some Sweet Corn and some Green Beans and some Squash and the corn and beens have sprouted, but the sqush should be a few more days. I also am buying 4 bana peppers and 4 Bell pepper plants from my Bio teacher for $4 ( E2)! I should be oging to the plant place tommorow.

Awesome, always good to hear people getting new plants How are you going to plant the peppers? I've just got mine in a compost bag at the moment and I don't know what else to do with them

Well, i planted them outside. I bought them from him in Bio-Degradable pots and planted them. They are doing well.

Ah right, sounds good, I wish I could plant mine outside, but I lack the space Ah well, overcrowed greenhouse for me it is! A few of my plants are also beginning to flower No idea which ones they are...I might be able to get picture to see if someone can tell me what it is as I sorta forgot to label them xD

I have some sprouted marigolds, some sprouted cucumber, and some sprouted squash. Our lettuce is up and so are the green beans.

sounds good So far only my marigolds have begun to flower How comes your plants are so much more interesting?
