I was just mooching through some pictures of plecs and researching the "smaller" types that may be suitable for my tank and found this... What on earth is it!!

Thats a Panaque not sure which species maybe blue eye? But there are a couple it could be. Not cheap fish either!!

Thats a really unflattering photo as well! Panaques are lovely!! Though tbh I will never own one again, they turn masive hunks of driftwood into pooped out shavings in no time at all.

The one I bought was about 20cm and chewed a hole in the plastic bucket on the way home

okay some thing random i just thought of i saw an arrowanna sp at the lfs a couple days a go it was huge about 2 feet long and costed 200 dollars
