Hi, well it needs a background of some sort and, not trying to be clever/rude, a bit of a clean up.... (I realize it may be the photo?)

Definately more plants, maybe some rock or wood and try to do something about the yellow water

+1 black backgroud
+1 more plants

Or how about two in one? Do a moss wall for a background?

Well I figured the lights had something to do with the color... Ceratopteris Thalictroides and Echinodorus Bleheri are both SUPER EASY plants to grow... I haveto trim my water sprite on a weekly basis or it starts to take over the tank... and I have low lighting and only dose micro nutes twicw a week.....

Hygrophila, Java moss, Java fern, Anubias and Amazon swords are all easy.

Yeah they all look good thanks but will get what the LFS has, im dosing flourish excell twice weekly and was looking at a presurised co2 kit and some high output lights but will have to wait awhile for spare money.
cheers

If ypure dosing liquid C02 you should be dosing some form of nutes also..... what kind of lighting??

nutrients.... either micro nutes (Seachems Flourish) or macro nutes (which TPN+ containd both micro and macro) but cannot get it ANYWHERE in the US :( ......... You should be only dosing C02 (Excel) if you have high enough light, but then you would need to be dosing nutes as well... If you do not see any nutrient deficiencies while dosing liquid C02 than most likely you do not need to be dosing it... Like I said earlier, I have pretty low light ( 30 W for 55 gallons ) and I am only dosing micro nutes (Seachems Flourish) twice a week and am getting substantial growth. I do not need to dose macro nutes because my tank is stocked enough to the point where the fish provide them...

More C02 means faster growth which also means a higher demand for nutrients BUT if there is not enough light, higher amounts of C02 mean nothing

EDIT:: You should look in the planted section through a couple of topics and you should see what I'm trying to say....
...... :good:
GOOD LUCK
