What Kind Of Fish Is This?

I bought this fish from my friend or $15 yesterday but e knew nothing about it. I suspect it's some type of African Cichlid but want the exact name so I can research it further.

Hi welcome to the forum Its actually an American Cichlid called a Blue Acara - though there is a chance its a Green Terror but the body shape looks right for a BA but it looks a bit stressed so colours are a bit off.

Anything I could do to help relieve its stress? I suspect it's from the move to a new tank.

It will settle down I think - it looks like it has a couple of scrapes on the side the white patches so that might not be helping it too much.
 
What tank is it in? And what other fish are in there, species names and numbers please
