I have been on Amazon looking for a back-up power supply for my 5-gallon Fish Tank with one Betta Fish to keep a 100 watt heater to stay on. I am too confused on what to buy. I lose power when a tree falls and when it snows a lot in the winter.

Not sure anything would be in budget for a tank that small. For people with larger tank (75g+) they will sometimes buy a generator for their backup. However, these can be expensive. (Probably 5x the cost of your 5G)

With a tank as small as yours, you can just wrap towels around the tank to preserve warmth, and also buy battery powered air pumps to keep the water oxygenated.
