..the quickst somebody has cycled a tank and with what method?

i have had a tank going 2 days with a brand new filter and a small bit of mature media (fish in cycle). i already have high readings of nitrite

Tom..... This is normally a debate and not just a light hearted question...Read all the replies in my topic "cycling..... Are'nt we just a bit overboard"..... (or something to that effect)....

Locker.... I have a scoop of them in a tank at the moment & I'm studying them to see if there are any detectable differences between them....

Only problem is though,... I'm not sure if I have representatives of both species in there..... (could all be swords.... Could all be Platies).....
