What Is This?

i got this fish as free be, when i got my reed fish? at first i thought it was a young harlequin but about 2 months down the line it look the same but bigger? here a pic as you can a harlequin is in the back ground. this fish a has a bit that sines on the top of his head?

looks like a harlequin to me they do grow to about two and a half inches

It looks like a fish that we sell at work which we give a common name of purple Harlequin, our supplier has standard Harlequins and purple Harlequins on his listings, they look identical in shape so i would think that they may just be a selectively bred species of the standard harlequin.

Edit, actually after a quick look on google i think i have found them, I think it is a variety of Rasbora heteromorpha.

that's grate thanks for the replys. as least i know what it is now. at first i did think it was a green barb as we got some of them at the same time but it was a differnt shape. thank every one
