this is my hillstream tank, a tank I try to grow algae in, for the fish to graze on… in my other tanks, algae grows where it chooses my tetra tank gets spots on the front glass, even near the substrate… but this hillstream tank has a definite line, on the front glass, about 6 inch’s down from the top, where algae grows above, but never below… it’s a curiosity, that is kind of hard to capture in a picture, but here is an attemp… I don’t think I have ever ( in 4 ish years ) scraped algae below that line???
