What is this?

Hi together,
please look at this picture.
May anybody knows what it is. It grows only on my wood in small colonies.
It's light brown with a velvet surface and very slippery. It grows very slowly,
but it looks not fine.

I have no clue as to what this type of algae is. It's a new one to me, assuming its the brown stuff that looks like worms If it's not I'm not sure what I'm suppose to be looking at.
