This is my male Honey Gourami, his name is Jade. I do not expect that Jade is going to make it at this point, but I at least want to find out what killed him so I can prevent further deaths. He's in a 40 gallon community tank I've had set up for several years and that I've been having a lot more trouble with since I moved 4 months ago.

What kind of trouble? How old is Jade? What are your tank parameters? Have you checked nitrate, nitrate and ammonia levels? Have other fish died in the tank or look ill?

I would add to gwand's questions, how long have you had it? Jade looks more female, but that could be from illness...

My first line of defense is always lots of big water changes as often as you reasonably can.

Is your tap water at your new place similar to your old? Have you tested it?

I'm sorry, Jade does look in dire straights. How are your other fish doing?

I see what appear to be cysts and bumps on the fish, which leads me to suspect Mycobacteriosis. It's an incurable bacterial infection that would have come with him from the fish farm. Do not leave that fish in the tank. Get it out NOW. If it dies in the tank, this common chronic disease will spread like wildfire.
