Hello can someone tell me what is the name of this malawi ,i just bought 3 of them and i want to find information on them.

I have no idea, Thats a beautiful fish.. Where did you get it, Im curious to find out what that is myself i would love to find some of my own.

I'm not sure what it is but i'm pretty sure its not a Greshakei (aka red-top Afra)as they have feint vertical bars and a slightly different head shape. To be honest it looks like a hybrid based on Maylandia Callainos.

Thanks for finding the fish you are correct . I bought the fish from Tarcus in Malta Europe .

it could grow to 2ft long or be the most vicious cichlid of them all.

[You are correct Sam but what would you do if you go to buy fish and you only find 20 assorted fish in an aquarium only in the country.

What are the tank mates of the fish.. Sam i think if you buy a cichlids from a pet store there is a very good chance all will go well with these fish in your aquarium assuming that the aquarium is african cichlids and that the aquarist is familiar with these fish.. In this case all is well thus far.. If there were ever a problem, there is always a solution.
