Ok, ill start us off.

i got an Australian Northern Trout Gudgeon for free from my LFS.

They had no idea what it was, and it was eating all their other fish so i took it lol.

Ok mr picky, i get ur point lol

PAH (where i work) do a warranty for their fish, so if any die in either the first week, or we accidentally introduce a disease into their tank then they can bring evidence, and their recipts, and they get their money back. thats a good deal, and really useful for tetras etc, where only about 8 out of 10 fish survive the move.

When i was innitially stocking my community tank, i was given quite a few platys but only charged for a couple! Now i have a mbuna tank set up, i got 7 Electric Yellow Lab juvvies for £10, when they are normally £5 - £7 ech at the lfs. Mind you i got them from someone who breeds them and so they are far superior quality than Lfs ones, that always look a little rough IMO! GRJ
