what is that small square white rock thing call? i think it can keep good bacteria?

What is seashem is it has a rock version that i'm talking about? And is seachem and seashem the same, what is their different?
It is Seachem, not Seashem. It is a range pf products for water treatment and has nothing to do with your item in question.

Please supply the requested photos and information that I requested.

So the object you asked about is part of a filter. That's its function, no matter which company packages it. If you aren't putting a lot of them in a filter, they are relatively useless.

Sorry but I have no idea as to what zeabra might be.

Your first image link seems to not work but the second does. Pretty beta but needs some plants, especially floaters.

Yes, the chunks on the bottom are ceramics. Is there any filtration in the tank? I don't see any in the second image link that works.

forget about zeabra....
that is not betta that i owned and i think there is no filtratoin in the tank since very small space.
so what can that chunks actually called and what can it do?
So what can that chunks for if not use with filtration for example use just one or two like in pictures?

I hope the tank isn't too small as a beta really needs a 5 gallon tank at least.

As I've said, the chunks are ceramics. They don't do much just sitting on the bottom of the tank as they need to be in an active filter.

Does that chunk make bacteria?
Where do bacteria come from?
The ceramics do not 'make' bacteria'. It just gives the bacteria a place to live.

Bacteria of all sorts are everywhere. In relation to an aquarium we are only concerned with two types. One breaks down ammonia into nitrites. Another breaks down nitrites into nitrates. Sadly there are no bacteria in an aquarium to break down the nitrates which is one of the reasons that water changes are so important as the water removed also removes nitrates from the tank as the replacement water does not normally contain nitrates.

The thing is that, if there is no filtration to move the water, the good bacteria will not do well as there is no water movement to bring the ammonia and nitrites to the bacteria so, in essence, the bacteria starve as they cannot move around to get to the ammonia and nitrites. The water, through filtration, brings the ammonia and nitrites to the bacteria which is why the ceramics should be within the filter. This is why just having ceramics scattered in the bottom of the tank does not help much at all as, without water movement, there is no way for the ammonia and nitrites to get to the bacteria.

Think of it this way... You are really hungry but tied to a chair. There is a table full of food but you cant get to it and no one is around to bring food to you. Eventually you starve. It is the same with an aquarium and bacteria. The bacteria is tied to the ceramics and, without water movement via filtration, there is nothing to bring the ammonia and nitrites to the bacteria so it starves.

If it is not in a filter, ceramic media is useless.

Maybe, it is is a zeolite product I haven't seen in my region of the world. Could that be the 'zeabra' that appeared in your post? In that case, it isn't a common product and you will need to research on your own.

I found this image on UK Amazon. It looks like the things in your photo. They are called ceramic filter media.

ceramic rings.jpg

These are a type of filter medium. They are made of ceramic and have rough surface or holes in the surface for the filter bacteria to cling to.
They have to go inside a filter. They are useless on the bottom of an aquarium. The person who took the photo in your post does not understand this.

Seachem Prime is a water conditioner. It is a liquid. It removes chlorine. It splits chloramine into chlorine and ammonia then removes the chlorine and detoxifies the ammonia for 24 hours.
Seachem also make Safe which is the same as Prime but it is a powder. It must be dissolved in water.

Those chunks of rock are made of ceramic. Many companies make them. They are put inside a filter and bacteria grow on the surfaces.
