What hardness should i keep electric yellows and electric blues i am confused everywhere says something different. The shop keeps them in normal conditions soft water and some site say different. Sooooooooo very confused, and would it be possible to keep tem in soft water for very long, my friend does is this bad????

Can you keep bristlenoses with them (yellows and blues)

Unfortunately there is lots of conflicting information, fortunately it doesn't matter much.

The fact is, the general hardness of the water of these fish in their natural habitat (lake Malawi) is not hard at all, despite what many think
The fact is, the fish available at the lfs were bred in captivity, so the water of their natural habitat doesn't mean much anyway.
The fact is, these fish are very versatile - whatever your water is they can handle it, unless it's really off the charts in one direction or another.
