What Happened To This Fish

Was that the only Betta in the tank? (I'm presuming it's a betta although from that photo I wasn't sure) - Was just wondering if there were other Betta's whether they had been fighting. As you probably know, when Betta's fight one will often clamp it's mouth over the other one and drag it down and prevent it from going up for air, thus suffocating it. Perhaps this could have happened and why there is so much damage to its mouth?

Bacterial hemmorrhagic septicemia maybe? Looks like it with the red streaks. That infection can make a fish die pretty quickly. Were there any growths in the fish's mouth?

Hey Mel, hope things are going better for you..

This is exactly what i went through with my bettas a while back, it wiped all mine out that was in the tank, i treated with all sorts and it did not do a thing.
