Also John, I would of thought your angel is scared of the barbs because tigers are known to be one of the worse ones for fin nipping. I bet they love the long fins of the angel

I would agree, if it had any fins... But it was missing the long strands when I bought it. Color was good enough to make up for it. It was fully grown too, 6 inches long, and the tigers were babies, but still

Balas should be fine with the Oscar, as long as they were roughly the same size. The ones I've seen were quite aggressive though, once again not sure about the angel.

hi yes i really did say 1600L lol, i will try get some pics togther all my fish other than the angel or juvies, so not much to see at this point, but never the less i will try and get some pics of the big tank and the 5ft tank is infact a juwel rio 400 i think? around 450l,

the angel is fully grown at around 15cm,

Anyone know if some bala/silver shark will be compatable?

Certainly not with your Angels, or any other type of Cichlid IMHO.
It's a Jewel Rio series i am aiming to buy at some point soon, look forward to the pics.

Iv had a few juwel tanks now. A vision 180, 260, rio 180 and now got a rio 400 with 2 tetratec 1200's, lompopo black sand, and a 300w hydor external heater... Fab tanks IMO

I thought the same. Iv owned all the fish near enough that the OP has so iv seen them big and small. I'm more interested in seeing a pick of the 10 footer
