What fish do you think is underrated?

over rated - discus (yea their good looking but their a pain in the "keester" to keep alive), tiger barbs ( they do no good for the tank, all they do is kill others)

Underrated - Angels (nice looking fish, easy to take care of)

gotta agree with weather loaches...they're ace. :D
Weird. My Weather Loach's name is "Ace."

And they ARE underrated. So are many loaches, for that matter.

Back to the original intent of this post, I say by far the most underrated are the freshwater gobies! DESERT GOBYS ROCK!! I want some bad, a guy about 2 hours from here breeds em, and we're gonna trade some fish in like 3 weeks, im so HAPPY :hyper:

sigh yourself, do you have to comment on everything?

i dodnt have to read the posted time and date, btw

Overrated- Bettas, although they are one of my fish, they are not as great as people make them seem.

Unerrated- Gouramis! Such wonderful fish!

nope i have to disagree with u there im afraind (oho!)

tiger barbs an any barbs are brill if u have the right numbers.. one or two on their own and they are like the devil incarnet! but u stick five or siz of them together an they are :hyper:

they are fast movers and agile swimmers (like most fish) but when it comes to feedin time they like a pack of phirahnas(sp) i nearly lost a fihger one night :X no kiddin, i was (hand) feedin bloodworms to them, one got over excited an jumped out of the tank, i scremed jump and stepped on the poor thing :-(

i wish i never got rid of my barb tank, it was my most active, and colourfull tank i had.

cant realy see many barbs in this one... thats cuase they are here there an everywhere

i had 5 tiger, 4 large green, 3 rosey, 2 ruby and 2 golden :) they were great :flex:

Nice tank. I agree with you about keeping them in larger numbers. However, my biggest problem with them is they seem to be very delicate. They always die on us. Sometimes you can get lucky and get some that live longer.

iv never had any problem with them dieing on me (well apart from the one i stepped on -_- )

did you test ur water at the time? they are a sensitive species, like most fish somthing alters a little and off they go

Over rated - corydora - very ugly fish and they grub about in the muck. Bettas are also over rated - too weak to live with most other fish. waste of money. as were the ADFs which lasted about a week.

Under rated - shrimps! not that theyre fish - rasboras especially harlequin - i dont know why people dont love them! swordtails.

Over-rated : Bettas. I think they look horrible, sorry

Under-rated : Cherry barbs and Harlequin Rasboras

Overrated - Livebearers (especially platys and mollies) and bettas.

Underrated - Rainbowfish
