What Fish Breed Easily In A Community

I'd love to see some fry in my community that ill be stocking shortly. Going to have a couple of guppies,platies and cherry shrimp..maybe even some BNs.. but i'd like other fish that lay eggs that get to hatch (without having to change the water parameters drastically,which will upset the community)

The community will consist of
Harlequins
Rummynoses
Corys
Guppies
Platies
Cherry shrimp
Maybe bolivian ram pair
Gourami pair or 1m 2f

Depending on the species you have, the corydoras are likely to breed in your tank. Here's a thread that will give you more information about raising them:

Most all of your fish will breed in a community tank, but getting any of the fry to survive in a community tank is completely different.... To achieve that, you'll need something like a dedicated parental care (like most cichlids) and moreso Convicts, which rear their fry sometimes even past the "weaning" stage...... but all depends on what else you keep in that community.

the stocking will be as written above. Ive previously kept platies and guppies with danios and harlequins and had fry swimming around the tank like they owned the place so harleys and danios in my experience will not kill ALL fry they see. (some did get picked off during the births but once they run for a few minutes the bigger fish gave up)

You mentioned Bristlenose Plecos and they would also be an excellent choice. They need a cave of some sort to spawn, but the father will stay in it and fan their large eggs until hatching and will guard the young until they are ready to go on their own. At this point they will eat regular vegetables and other food and they will be big enough that most community fish won't bother them. It's delightful to watch this happen.

danios...pure and simple some zera danios...layer some marbles in the tank...and when you do a water change make sure 10% no more is cold as it will induce spawning.

i would buy about 6 if your tank will take it...your bound to get some males and females then

It is like you said in your first post.... the guppies & Platies will (some percentage) survive in this community you suggest, but don't think your egg scatterers has a chance.....(and that is what you're asking)

I have fry in my tank ....they are Platys and Swordtails. They live in the floating weed which I keep in one corner at the top of the tank. This weed helps protect them until they are ready to swim alone.
